Who is Myles Thimbrel?
Myles Thimbrel is a 26-year-old mechanical engineer from Harlem with a passion for innovation, education, and community impact. A proud alumni of Cardinal Hayes High School and Alfred State College, he holds a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Myles began his professional journey as a substitute teacher, sharing his love for history with elementary school students for over a year and a half. He has since transitioned into engineering, currently working at Vantage Elevation while simultaneously pursuing entrepreneurial ventures. In addition to his professional and business pursuits, Myles is a key figure in his family-operated philanthropic organization, Thimbrel Worldwide, which focuses on uplifting and supporting local neighborhoods through service and resources. He is also the creator of HLTH Water, a high-quality water business aimed at delivering healthy, clean water to underserved communities. His life's work blends technical skill, creativity, and a deep commitment to social impact.
In June 2025, Myles was tapped to be one of the keynote speakers at the 2025 Harriet Tubman Charter School Commencement.
In September 2025, Myles hosted the first annual Edgecombe Back to School Block Party as well as the Kids Excellence Awards. At the 2025 Kids Excellence Awards, he also honored Donell Canmu-Campbell with the first Thimbrel Worldwide Legacy Award!
